Just thinking
I was doing the dishes this morning listening to the radio and I first heard song that was originally from Dirty Dancing but remixed. Then they played a remixed version of a SuperTramp song. Are the new artists today really that desperate. Whats next, a remixed version of Spices Girls or Ace of Base. I shouldn't even call these people artist. All I have to say is that these people are really creative.

I can count the legit modern musicians that get airtime on one hand, maybe two. Television and videos may have distroyed popular music because looking good is the only requisite to a record deal. You dont have to be able to sing, play an instrument, or read or write music.
that manfred mann sure does a sweet cover though.
Manfred Mann makes songs better than the original. That is talent right there.
A cover of Ace of Base "I saw the Sign" would be simply fantastic.
Dont forget Joe Cocker and Van Halen as excellent cover artists.
